I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist based in south-west Norwich. I can offer therapy in a safe, quiet and non-judgemental space either face-to face or online.
Life can be unpredictable. Things happen, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and anxious. A crisis, a turning point in life, grief, loneliness; all can leave us subject to unbearable emotional states like anxiety, depression and low self-esteem, to name just a few.
If you’ve found me here in these pages it’s because you feel you need some extra support right now. I know how difficult it can be to take this first step and I hope that the information you will find here will help to reassure you that counselling can help. It can feel quite refreshing to talk to someone who is not a friend or family member - someone to listen who can help you to hear yourself more clearly.
I work with individuals aged 18 or over offering you the flexibility of short, medium or long term counselling. I believe that seeing a counsellor should be an accessible and normal routine, just like going to the gym, eating well, and developing your career and personal interests.
It would be good to see people access counselling before reaching crisis point, recognising that self-care is, and has to be, a priority if we are to function well for ourselves and our families in today's busy and stressful world.
In addition to my private work I also provide counselling at the Norwich Eating Matters charity and I have previously practised at the Norwich Centre.
My counselling practice is located in NR4, within easy reach of Norwich, and free parking is available right outside. If you are looking for an experienced counsellor in Norwich and want to find out more do get in touch today, by email or phone.
